What do you dream about at night...?

Many well-meaning parents tell their children, when they wake up from a nightmare in a panic, “Don’t worry, it was just a dream.” And that’s the start of a process in which we learn to ignore dreams as unreal and unimportant.

But there’s no such thing as “just” a dream. Dreams are astonishing, multimedia experiences that give us insight into ourselves, offer advice for the challenges in our lives, let us see into the future and visit the past, and give us a medium for communicating with the dead and non-physical beings. They are nothing less than everyday miracles. And our modern civilisation teaches us to ignore them, which is why we don’t remember them. And when we do remember them, we dismiss them as “just dreams”.

But if we embrace these everyday miracles, they have the power to change our lives and fill them with colour and magic.

Start paying attention to your dreams! If you take the trouble to write them down, you’ll remember more and more of them. And you’ll discover that they really are everyday miracles.
