Traditional Chinese Medicine
Seeing symptoms in the context of life.
TCM links physical complaints with the way we live. The diagnosis is based on the medical history, tongue diagnosis and pulse diagnosis.

Diagnostics
- Tongue diagnosis
- The coating, colour, shape and markings of the tongue give clues about the body's internal state. For this, the tongue is divided into areas that are assigned to particular organ systems.
- Pulse diagnosis
- The rate, depth, strength, rhythm and quality of the pulse describe the functional state of the body.
Treatment
- Acupuncture
- Fine needles at selected points along the meridians.
- Moxibustion (moxa)
- Acupuncture points are gently warmed with smouldering dried mugwort.
- Cupping
- Cupping glasses create negative pressure on the skin and stimulate the tissue.
- Gua Sha
- Using a scraper made of horn or jade, the skin is stroked along the muscles until redness appears.
- Herbal prescriptions
- Individually compounded herbal blends based on the TCM diagnosis.
- TCM nutritional counselling
- Food as daily medicine, tailored to your constitution.
